cup of tea
Painful today, we just need to forget about this match and move on. Enfield came with a game plan and it worked for them, well played. Unfortunate first goal , sun clearly got in Joe Wright’s eyes but he’s had a tremendous season and these things sometimes happen. Great headed equaliser but again a big of a soft goal for a winner . Hope Mickey Parcell is okay, that was a bad challenge at the end. Some of the refereeing decisions seemed to be a bit random today as well. We know we can play better than that and I’m sure we will. Write this game off, make sure there’s lessons learned in case we do end up playing each other in the playoffs and move on. COYU
urchinman1961
Although not in attendance yesterday let's not forget what a wonderful run we have been on so we move on up the Urchins
Riverside Urchin
What a team falling over at the slightest tap. Glad that no 24 eventually received a yellow card. They were lucky with two very soft goals. I missed the last 5 mins as I had to shoot off, but I hope our Mickey is ok. Put it behind us but I thought Enfield were a disgrace. obis
Enfield had the long ball old Wimbledon style of play simple but effective when you have some giants in the team. Difficult to defend against particularly as the referee appeared to favour them with a number of free kicks which were predictably lofted high up in the air. Would prefer not to meet them if we teach the playoffs. We can outplay everyone in the division when we are in the zone so it all augers well for an exiting end to the season although the next game is crucial to win so we don’t go on a bad spell. Great crowd and atmosphere.

Was disappointed when an Enfield player clearly threw himself to the ground (about half a metre between him and the Hornchurch player) and then proceeded to roll about in agony - right in front of the Eastside. He was clever enough to do it on the blindside of the ref who bought it. A lot of that going on

Disgraceful play acting side and i thought the Carshalton manager/player in the extra added minutes (Carshalton time) of added time was bad enough the other week!
