Ian g f
Seen some post on here about ticket pricing for next season, with SBC half a billion in debt wondered if and when our ground rent will rise as that will have a bearing on pricing

3spirit
To me, this is the club's business. This forum is more about the football/playing side. If prices do go up next season as a consequence of the ground rent rise, then fans should be informed of this reason but do Slough fans need to know now? I think not but others may disagree. Hopefully the rent won’t increase… but I really don’t think the club can increase the £15 adult admission as it’s already one of the highest in the league and any further increase would surely lower the crowd numbers. This is why our link up with A23 is such a great move as it provides a conveyor belt of talent at no cost to club (how our A23 funded although I guess they don’t pay any of the players?). Obviously not every player that we promote to the first team will work out but hopefully a few gold nuggets will appear.

Aren't A23 funded by the government because they are classed as a full time sports educational establishment?
