I don't see it as crucial to start George. For me there's only 5 players that would be in my team week in week out,if fit and that is Jonathan North, Lee Togwell,Josh Jackman,Aaron Kuhl and Matt Lench. Those would be the five I would build around. These days it's very much about a squad game so there's room for players to come in and out the team.

I'm well pleased with the acquisitions of Edon Pruti, Alfonso Tenconi and Imran Kayani, all great young finds. Max Worsfold would be there and there abouts but I wouldn't use him solely as a left winger, and would look for an alternative [I don't mean get rid]. Scott Davies is playing exceptional and currently worth a place in the line up. I've always been a fan of Scott's so i know what he can do.Freddie Grant should prove to be a good signing.  Forwards wise I would for look for an overhaul up front but that would need to be when money is more widely available.I've not seen Ada Okorogheye play yet, so am open minded about him.

On George Hunt, I wish him the best and hope he nails down a place in our team/squad especially after the horrendous injuries he's had in his professional career but I've only seen him play 4 times this season and going by those four games, I have to be honest and say I haven't seen anything to say,wow what a player !  Not meaning to write him off [just saying]. That doesn't mean to say he isn't worth keeping around but my mind currently views him as a good squad player like Sean Fraser but not as Bakes prescribes as one of the first names on the team sheet.

I've seen him a good few more times than 4 and I think Neil's praise is deserved - he's one of those players who quietly gets on with making things happen

Fair enough. I'm waiting to be convinced. I've seen a few nice touches and good ball control but as I said I've not seen enough from him, for me to rave about him.

You may well be right, I have been known to be wrong but I'll stick by my opinion [for now] !

I watched the Middlesbrough v Tottenham Hotspur match last evening and rated it as a sensationally exciting FA Cup tie. I also felt that Chris Wilder had brought Middlesbrough up to Premier League level.

Luckily, I told my friend that I wouldn't go to Hayes & Yeading United v Salisbury if it was raining in Iver at 6.30 pm. It was ... and the match was postponed at 6.45 pm as my friend found out when he arrived at The SKYex having driven all the way from Bracknell.

You watched a totally different game to me !

Bearing in mind M'brough are 8th in the Championship.

I think Shredding must be on a massive wind up  ?

It was no wind up.

In the first half, I kept an eye on the match. Good build up play ended with chances not being taken due to wayward finishing.

But from the 55th minute, I concentated on the match in full without doing other things whilst it was on. I was watching as a fairly neutral so some Tottenham fans would not have found the match so exciting.

Middlesbrough have won their last seven home matches in The Championship.

Yes, back to the game.

Just seen the poor video highlights and yes it was a good cross and header for their goal but how much time did he have to cross the ball?

Going by Unders post match interview we continually allowed crosses into our box which was inviting a goal to be scored and it duly happened.

I think I've mentioned on previous game threads that our attempts to stop crosses into our area is not good.

The seven teams above them in the table have not faired as well :-

Fulham  4-1-2
Bournemouth  4-1-2
Huddersfield Town  3-4-0
Blackburn Rovers  5-1-1
Queens Park Rangers  3-3-1
Luton Town  5-2-0
Sheffield United  5-2-0
