No idea where the two sides were in the table prior to heading to this one and wouldn't have guessed the disparity between the two based upon the performance. Bottom of the table Crawley had more of the chances, but failure to convert them allowed mid-table Arlesey to take advantage. All the goals came in the last 20 minutes of the first half with the visitors twice taking the lead, the eventual winner being a penalty just before the interval. Not many saw the incident so a surprise to the crowd around me when it was awarded. Spent the game sitting in the stand near the home dugout - who had a management team who were a pair that didn't require moving away from.
Parking is not available at the ground, but a nearby school (the Linden Academy) car park was available. After having driven though a large residential area a bit of a surprise to see the view from the ground which was anything but. Access is down one side and behind one goal only - it doesn't look like the hard standing goes any further. A slightly elevated stand with bench seating sits between the dugouts, with a small area of standing cover on the other side of the away one. The other facilities are a little lower than pitch level, but no bar here.
Very wet on the way up, but after a brief hailstorm about half an hour before kickoff it stayed dry. Stopped shortly after driving away to let a couple of Luton's finest cross the road keeping hold of someone who isn't.
