Another disappointing afternoon. Harrow played well today but, with respect to them, we should really be beating teams like them.

 

It's not that we didn't create chances. John Keeling screwed a shot wide after 7 minutes from a Danny Kerrigan cross and Vinnie John spun on the corner of the penalty area in the 19th minute and shot just over after a good forward move involving Kerrigan and Keeling. John headed wide from a cross from new signing Bertie Brayley on 35 minutes and Harrow went close themselves 3 minutes later when Abdulai Yoki headed over from a Steve Dogbe cross.

 

15 minutes into the second half Keeling blasted over from 20 yards after another good move but there was little else to excite the fans. Danny Gay was called to save well with 20 minutes left after which we increased the pressure on the Harrow defence but with little effect. Towards the end, however, Gay made another good save from a Yoki header.
