Excellent performance although after the first 10-15 mins if anyone asked I would have taken a draw.  But we fully deserved the three points.   Thought that the crowd appeared bigger than the 662 stated.  Looking good for the play offs although a long way to go.

Done well to pull the goal deficit down to be leading at half time what was their defender thinking of just into the second half made it easier for us albeit took a while for the killer 3rd goal,I love the smell of victory against the big teams good crowd good result up the Urchins

What a fantastic result. I was fortunate enough to miss the first few minutes, apparently their guy took his goal well. What I saw was then a Hornchurch team that had the edge offensively. What was their no 5 thinking of? Crazy way to get sent off. This team is working hard and well organised at the moment, we just can’t seem to get in a playoff place at the moment but I’m certain it’s coming. Loving the attendance, wasn’t expecting that. Well done to all and let’s keep this going

Bit slow to get started but after 20 mins by far the better team. Great performance good crowd and great atmosphere.

I have to say this was an outstanding performance all round from the team showing that FA Trophy Spirit to re group after a fast and furious first 15 minutes, slightly helped with all the over the top rolls from the Lewes players who seemed to wilt after throwing themselves into some daft 50/50 challenges.  Once Hornchurch had got their 1st goal and had worked out Lewes game plan they never really got back into it but carried on trying to be physical and paying a high price 

their captain getting a red card was just plain stupid but summed up an increasingly frustrated Lewes team who failed to score again.

As for the Urchins we seemed fired up and with a bumper crowd and a special mascot appearance really seemed to feed off the energy and passion from the supporters to put in an excellent performance all round.

Our season seems to have started late, but its fantastic to see what the lads can really do when they have the chance to play without injury or Covid getting in the way.
