My goodness, Worthing were phenomenal today. It will be a miracle if they don't win the league with several games to go - and rightly so.
But, we went toe-to -toe and matched them throughout the game.
I was other side of the pitch so not sure if Mickey's card was justified but I think he wasn't as committed (aggressive?) in some tackles afterwards because of it which gave some Worthing some unwarranted developments.
No criticism for Worthing's goal, their boy just found his spot with pinpoint precision.
Then it just came down to guts and glory and never say die.
94th minute goals are always special whether they go for you or against. I didn't really see what happened because I thought Ollie scored but pleased for Tom for another goal and it certainly shut up the chirping from the Worthing fans around me.
And then we nearly got a winner - are we Spurs in disguise?
I expected more noise from a crowd of 1,300 but still enjoyable and something we can only aspire to.
Given their quality, I was surprised at how much screaming and diving Worthing did. A stronger referee would have curtailed this at the first opportunity.
In contrast, Ola was floored by a strong, fair challenge in the penalty area and could have tried to con the ref but just got back to his feet and tried to win the ball back.

As far as I can tell only 2 other teams have got any points this year at Woodside and I don't see them losing many more points at home.
 

Man of the match has to go to Charlie Sidgwick for his immaculate barrier hurdle pitch invasion after 10 pints and still tweeting at 10pm.
