Shredding Green
As we all know, this division is incredibly competitive from top to bottom. On Boxing Day, Billericay Town lost 1-3 at home to Concord Rangers whilst Braintree Town lost 3-0 at Chelmsford City. Bottom two form! But since then, their results have been :- Braintree Town 2 Dartford 2 Dorking Wanderers 2 Braintree Town 1 Hampton & Richmond Borough 2 Braintree Town 4 Ebbsfleet United 0 Billericay Town 0 Concord Rangers 0 Billericay Town 0 Billericay Town 1 Maidstone United 1 Oxford City 1 Billericay Town 2 I expect two very tough games for Rebels as they start the second half of the league season in search of a play-off spot. Irishadrian
I agree At the turn of the year Billericay had played 11 consecutive games with no wins just 3/33 points looked dead and buried but recently very hard to beat even got off the bottom until Braintrees victory tonight We cannot be complacent and think anything of their current positions
Jon Underwood
I was at Hampton last night to watch Braintree and they were excellent. We certainly won’t be underestimating them or Billericay.
Reading Rebel
The other side to win last night was third from bottom Tonbridge with an excellent 1-0 win at Chippenham. The moral of the story is take no notice of league positions, sides at the bottom have improved considerably.
