As of 22.00 on 12th January, exactly 200 seats have been sold in the two away sections, 3 in A and 197 in B.

Did you read that somewhere or did you actually count every seat on their ticket page? If we’ve sold 200 in advance you’d hope we could have around 300 on the day (I’m going but yet to buy a ticket).

I am a retired accountant so I counted every seat on their ticket page!

I’ve been dreading reading or hearing this sort of news… I even delayed buying my train ticket until there was only a couple left because of this fear! Not sure on the rules on how many players need to contract covid before they can call it off? So hoping it doesn’t as I really don’t fancy going midweek.

I think it's more how many players you have available.

Section B now has 220 seats sold. However, I very much doubt that the increase from 3 to 193 in Section A is seats sold. Probably the rear fourteen rows have been taken off sale but I see no mention of this on the York City website.

Loving your work Shreddy! I’ll buy my ticket tonight but you’d think a few will still buy on the day so I’d hope we’ll have 250-300 fans. Even though the pricing has been halved I’m not expecting much more than 2,000.

For pre-match drinks in York, I recommend the York Tap at the station. My pub sources also highly recommend The Maltings, and they are both close to the 9 bus which goes to the stadium. See you later everyone.
