Unfortunately that idiot now thinks other fans will back him when he acts like a moron as the majority turned on Alan Julian. If I saw someone spitting at a keeper I’d have no issue with the keeper chinning him. What he said yesterday was unacceptable.

Perhaps someone who can identify him needs to have a word.

100% agree with both those comments RW?

I wonder if it’s the person I’m thinking it is… medium height/build, bald/shaven head, swears constantly?

I also know this fan visually but not personally. As Rebellier states in a previous post , i also remember seeing him spitting at  opposing keepers & using the C word constantly. I guess if you pay your entrance fee you're entitled to say what you want as long as it's within reason. Very rarely will the stewards get involved to eject these fans unless they use the racist card. Perhaps this guy just had a tad too many beers after the holiday break! Hopefully there will be no repeat with the Oxford keeper on Sunday ,& that the club can employ one or two extra stewards incase.

Shouldn’t have to just rely on stewards though, supporters can police themselves. I’ve no idea who he is but I’ll happily pull him up if I see anything like that.

As for being entitled to say what you want if you pay an entrance fee, I couldn’t disagree more. If you tell a grown man you want him dead and think he has to take it because he’s wearing a football kit, you deserve everything that comes your way.

Fairly accurate. Wears a cap most games.

Well, he's about 15/20 years younger than me, and the way he seems constantly angry means I personally wouldn't risk my safety pulling him up.  When he was spitting a few years back I did inform someone in authority at the club about it.

Yeah must be the one I’m thinking of.

He’s certainly got anger management issues that dude! Best to speak to a steward next time and hopefully they’ll keep a closer eye on him as I guess you can’t be ejected for swearing?

Arbour Park ground regulation 9 :-

9 The use of threatening behaviour, foul or abusive language is strictly forbidden and will result in arrest and/or ejection from the Ground. The Club may impose a ban for one or more Matches.

But come on the vast majority including myself swear at football, you enforce that rule and the ground will be nearly empty! But yes obviously if it’s constant swearing then a steward simply needs to speak to the individual and warn them of that rule.
