So.

The Rebels were 2-1 loosers.

Marena the scorer.

Apparently the homer ref gave a late pen for handball which wasn't even they said it wasn't.

Soon to the next game.

The Ladies won 6-0 could and should of been more, but still had an off day.

Scorers were

Abi x3 Nicole x2 and Lauren.

Is the Ladies league table up to date?

It's showing that they have only played 8 games and sit in 4th place on 21 points.

Yes it's upto today.

We've been in cup competitions

Yes it did as I said upto today.

As of now.

We are 4th, half way through the league games (9 of 18).

1 point behind 3rd and 2nd, with 3 games in hand on both.

6 point behind 1st with 2 games in hand. We have already played away to 1st and won 2-1.

We are playing them at home next Sunday.

So next week is going to go along way to who might win the league.

I think we're talking at cross purposes here.

I was talking about the league table on our site which is showing having only played 8 games.

This is where you can always find the up to date table & fixtures for the women’s league:-

It looks like the possible league decider is coming up next week with Slough at home to Kidlington.

Well it would of been with 2 games in hand BUT it didn't happen.

A bad day at the office for the ladies they went down 4-1, they didn't have their scoring boots on. We missed 4 or 5 very good chances on another day we would of scored them. We hit the woodwork twice. But the only goal was by Abi. On to next week.

The Rebels made up for this loss whit a good 3-0 win.

With goals from Marena x2 and Aimee with the other.

Both the teams were in a cup competition today.

The Rebels lost 2-0 to a team in The Ladies league,  so unlucky.

The Ladies in front of goal had a off day, yet again Ascot played 4 of their 1st team, because they can going by our leagues rules, who play 2 divisions above. But we (if we wanted to) couldn't bring in any of our Rebels plays from a league below us.

Ascot went 1 up right after we missed a one on one with the keeper. We got on terms with a equaliser from Alice. We dominated the rest of the half with Nicole down the right and crossing along the 6 yard box on 6 or 7 times, but most went to the keeper. Then just before H/T an Ascot player went through Nicole and took her out and out of the game.

We started to get on top and another throw in done us and Ascot went 2-1 up.

Then from then on every time we went forward their lino put his flag up for offside,  most of them weren't even close but the ref had to take his word for it. The Lady (Tommo) who is level with the man in black was giving her offside.

Rant over don't mind loosing but fairly.

Back to League games.

The Rebels with only 11 player held out until 85 minutes before conceding the first for Ruislip who stand second in the table. Ended 2-0.

A great effort from the Rebels.

The Ladies with 2 cup exits in the last 2 weeks bounced back with a 4-2 win away to Oxford U23.

Goals from Abi x2, Victoria (with her first for the club) and Bonnie.

This weekend,

The Rebels are away to Holyport hoping to turn around the loses of the last 2 weeks.

The Ladies are at home against Haddenham who are second in the table, hoping for revenge for the Ladies first lose of the season back at the beginning of October.

So today.

The Rebels have only 1 game left, which is scheduled to be played on 13th March against Ascot who are top unbeaten.

The Ladies game was cancelled because Banbury had 6 unfit players, and didn't want to play with the fit players they had (and probably got spanked) This doesn't help us as it could go down to goal difference, who finishes 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

So at very short notice a friendly was arranged at home v Harefield (so thanks to them).

It gave us a chance to try out a few things. Also The Rebels captain Nadine came and had her first game for The Ladies, also to play players that probably whould start on the bench in a normal game.

So to the game.

Slough were in control from the start, but again couldn't show all this dominance into goals.

Into injury time 6 corners to none and waiting for the ref to blow for H/T, the 7th corner and Alice swung it in and into the net with a little help from the keeper (who over the 90 minutes had a great game).

So 1 up at h/t.

Second half was the same as the first dominated by Slough, on 64 minutes Abi cut into the right hand corner of the box and smashed a shot into the top left hand corner of the goal, 2-0.

Then 15 minutes later Nikhita (normal plays right back) was put through for a one on one with the keeper and dinked it over the keeper as she slid out.

Then our center back Jessica who never gets forward some how picked the ball up on the edge of the box. Calmly placed the ball into the opposite bottom corner, then turn away thinking she had missed,  but no 4-0. This was Jessica's first goal for the club.

That was on the 89th minute,  that was it for the game.

BUT 1 of the Harefield Ladies got a bad twist of her ankle.

We would like to send our best to her and she will not be out to long.

We are away to Abingdon next week, then we are away to todays friendly opposition Harefield.

Well Banbury sent in a result that they should have the points saying we were the one that cancelled the game and claimed the points. Do they not think we look at the Website.

Looks like a fine (again) is coming.
