Sounds like an excellent match and Rebels performance at Marsh Lane.

Not so for Dos at Meadowbank : 5-0 down at half time!!!

From the Havant & Waterlooville match twitter feed :-

2 pm : We've arrived.

2.15 pm : There is NOTHING like a Hawks away day.

4.51 pm : It's over. 8-0.

Stunning scoreline from Dorking.

Havant had defender Paul Rooney sent off in the 3rd minute.

Very entertaining game draw would of been the correct result Alfonso unlucky not to get a hat trick what he is showing at 18 years old is amazing confident what composure he has. Tyler put some fab cross field passes Max very unlucky hitting the post. We were putting pressure  on them after scoring the 2nd .Micheal in goal made two fine saves and will learn with experience from his mistakes but you have to give the Oxford lad praise for scoring from the bad kick upfield again great composure and skillfull technique.

I watched spurs game in bar afterwards out of the 1200+ only 30 went in for a drink which I thought was poor.

What fine passage of play late in 2nd half by Scotty Davis in our penalty area beating a number of there players to then go marauding upfield to set up attack superb.

I'm glad you now agree with me SD on the Oxford players stunning long range goal.

Yes it was a very well taken goal but we could have done better to prevent the chance ever happening.

Give the credit that's due when an excellent goal is scored against you and then talk about if there were any mistakes that led to the goal.

Isn't that what most supporters do?

RR bet this is the only place for you to get the last word in you was complaining with clearance feddie.s defending you soon b off when I told you to stop moaning. If the player missed the goal you wouldn't. of been moaning about.

Just trying to decipher what you've typed SD.

Complaining with clearance?

We all praised the player for the goal he scored and when I mentioned about the clearance that led to the goal you did your usual head in the sand dismissing any poor clearance only saying it was a great goal.

Then following the post match interview from Bakes I then read in your post that you agree that mistakes were made so really not sure what your own opinions are.

Not sure where Freddie comes into this but as you've brought it up I'll re-iterate what I've always said about Freddie Grant is that like most of today's modern full backs he is a very good attacking defender who is better going forward than defending.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'b off' but again it must be a figment of your imagination because I don't recall you saying or telling me anything of the sort.

The Boxing Day & New Year double header matches in the National Leagues are usually with the clubs in closest proximity …… so does anyone know why we got
Oxford City for these matches this year when Hampton & Richmond Borough would be the club in closest proximity to us.

With 21 clubs in National League South, in every round of matches one club has to miss out. These were 26/12 Hungerford Town; 2/1 Eastbourne Borough and
8/1 Havant & Waterlooville.

Hampton & Richmond Borough v Eastbourne Borough was due to take place on 26/12 and Hungerford Town v Hampton & Richmond Borough on 3/1. All the other clubs had home and away fixtures against the same opposition on 26/12 and 2/1.

So the answer to your question Curtis is "due to arranging the fixtures in National League South which has an uneven number of clubs".

It seems the NL believe that Oxford’s nearest team would be Slough , probably by distance and time of journey, although Hungerford has got to be close as well. Not having a local rival at this level does affect the club compared to some, look at the number of Essex and Kent derbies in our league
