Have had a similar injury myself so I did think this might might happen. It's a sensible choice from him.

As Sir Rebel1965 says " Serve with honour" certainly sums Warren up.

Been at STFC since Bakes and Unders joined the club and has always been one of those quiet players who just get on with the job in hand, Has played anywhere requested of him by the managers. Always giving 100+% and has scored his fair share of goals, some at a crucial stage of the game.

Will be a difficult pair of boots to fill.

Just read the managers announcement and they forgot to mention one more achievement - winning two prizes in this years xmas draw.?

Very sad news but I'm  sure a correct decision

I'd  rather remember many years of first class performances from Warren  than see him try to soldier on with an intractable injury which will never get better

Yes Warren, you will always be remembered by me as a top Rebels player both on and off the pitch.

I will never forget that 77th minute header in the 0-1 win at Maidstone United on 6th November 2021.

So many great memories, but perhaps for me the strongest was his performance in the 2nd half of the playoff final against Kettering. He was all over the place, involved in 2 of the goals and ran himself into the ground!

All the best Warren in your retirement. You have served the club with honour & in my opinion always gave 100% out on the pitch regardless of the opposition 

,conditions , or score. You were a joy to watch .Didn't appear to be very vocal , but let your feet , & quite occasionally your head do the talking.

One of the things I think most supporters admired about Wazza was his work rate and never say die attitude.

If he lost the ball his head wouldn't drop he would do his utmost to get the ball back.

His work rate and commitment was second to none.
