A football-free weekend.  (Does England-Albania count?).  Hope you all got through it OK.  Anyway – get yourselves down for the title-decider v Worthing on Tuesday.  There’s confidence for you!

Meanwhile the Prediction League chugs relentlessly on.  And on.  And on.  Unless you are Hatted Urchin or Wivenhoe,  who decided on a weekend off and are now joint holders of the Fat Tom Alarm Clock Award. 

Well done to COYS and MikeMike for the Golden Boot this week (with extra plaudit to Mike who was the only manager to go for an Equitorial Guniea win, and is now odds-on for an immediate return to Div 1).  There, that's torn it Mike!

Blackballed stays top of the top crop, despite his 5 match winning streak coming to a grinding halt against Mr D, who is now ominously level on points in a relentless drive to retain his crown.  UrchinYid gets the Lucky B@st@rd award, with a win so fortuitous that the Award is promptly renamed the Urchin Yid Lucky B Award until such time as an even luckier win happens upon us.  So forever then.

Talking of streaks, there are some impressive losing streaks ongoing at the mo – with Wivvers and Ozz now on 5 in a row, but both outclassed (?) by Diamond Geezer with a very impressive 6 in a row!  Come on Mr Geezer, what's hapened to last year's form?

Finally, I regret to announce the season’s first warning against Rule 5.1 goes to my good buddy, Lady Jago, for the heinous crime of inserting additional lines between scores.  Her excuse... “Baby Jago texted me to say he couldn’t log on from Elliot’s house, so would I please put his scores in for him – but I was in the pub and didn’t know how to cut and paste on the phone so I ended up retyping.... blah blah, blah....”  etc,etc by which time I’d glazed over so didn’t get the rest. I think the dog ate her homework or something.  Anyway – warning duly applied.  And to add insult to injury, the Baby went on to beat her ladyship 7-4.  Should have ignored the text.

So then. Eleven weeks gone.  Three to go, which means everyone has played everybody else once.  The additional three weeks have been randomly drawn to be repeats of weeks 7, 1, and 3.  In that order.
