That's not like you Irish Adrian to miss The Match of The Round!!!

Marine v Dunston UTS was played before a bumper Rossett Park crowd of 1,202. Well, scousers have to get their Saturday football fix somewhere and they certainly got their money's worth.

HT : 0-0

51  : Floodlight failure.

Dunston UTS midfielder Philip Turnbull is an electrician by trade and, with the help of a few phone calls, helps fix the floodlights.

After a 58 minutes delay, the match recommences at 17.05.

63  : Wignall gave Marine the lead. 1-0.

73  : Reilly scores for Marine. 2-0.

79  : Djalo scores for Dunston UTS. 2-1.

86  : Mason scores for Dunston UTS. 2-2.

The match goes to Penalties.

Each side scores from their first four kicks. 4-4.

Mason misses for Dunston UTS and Cummins scores for Marine.

Marine have won the match 5-4 on penalties.

The fans can go home and watch the rugby union on i-player!!!

They were lucky to have a tolerant ref  today's ref at H&R v Braintree gave them 15 mins to restart and abandoned the game when they couldn't Anyone know if there are any set rules or can the ref  do as he pleases?
