I think so RR, just watched it again and there is a bit of grinning etc when they are talking about it, but who really knows. The pitch looks the same as it always has to me. 

I'd also say that even if there was some truth to the lifespan etc of 3/4G pitches, ours wouldn't have aged as much as it should have to this point as although it's been laid for 5 years it's only had probably 3 and half years worth of use on it due to the pandemic and things like games / training for us being limited as well as schools use, private hire etc.
