Foodbank Donations

Dinamo Urchin

Recommended Posts

Right, whilst everyone is in a good mood following on from 3 very impressive performances in the last 7 days, I am going to milk that goodwill feeling and ask you all to support the HFCSA annual collection for Rainham Foodbank.

These are particularly difficult times for many so we want to do all we can to support people in our local community.  As ever, any contribution that you may be able to make will be most welcome, however there is an urgent need for the following:

Toothpaste

Toilet Rolls

Shower Gels

Tinned Fruit

Rice Pudding

Pasta Sauces

Tinned Vegetables

Tinned Meat

Jam

Coffee (small size)

Long life milk

Biscuits

Any donations can be left at the Supporters Association stall or club shop on forthcoming home matchdays, starting with the visit of Worthing on Tuesday night, and we will ensure that they are passed onto the Foodbank.

Many thanks in advance for your kind generosity.

Hi Pete, apologies I've only just seen this. Yes, I'm happy to take any further donations - just leave them at the club shop as before.

By way of an update for everyone, despite the postponement of the Horsham game, we still managed to deliver over 100kgs of donations before Christmas.

I also want to say a massive thank you to Urchin fan Gary and his colleagues at the Communication Workers Union at Romford Mail Centre who have arranged for a significant cash donation to be made directly to Rainham Food Bank. It was a fantastic gesture and I know from speaking to the Operations Manager there how welcome it was and how grateful they are.
