Hearing rumours of possible signing from Hungerford...

Certainly scores goals at this level but he's still got a year to run on his 2 year deal at Hungerford.

Don't know if he's still living down that way but he comes from Yeovil and if he still does it would be a non starter.

Will stop that in its tracks, as not sure where you have heard that from, as no truth in it at all, as RR said he has a further year and a half on his new contract that he signed in the summer, that after Hungerford turned down two bids in the summer from a club in Wales and a team in our league (in top 3), we are not a club in a position to pay transfer fees.

Good player clearly, but he will not be one that we can get.

OK, thanks.  I now know not to listen to this particular "in the know" person...

Yep afraid that has not even been spoken about, I know how much they turned down, and what his deal looks like, would be an absolute non starter for us.

You can only presume Hungerford have massively benefited from the cash hand outs as there should be no way they could normally afford to pay a player that per week for 2 years or indeed turn down large 5 figure bids.

From memory wasn't it something like each club got £70k+ regardless of average attendance etc (I think some clubs got a bit more) and someone worked out on Hungerfords average attendance over the time period check they should have got less than half that?

Would make sense that they are now spending some of that money!!!!!

All I can say is for Hungerford to be able to afford to pay and turn down offers for Ryan Seager they must of done well out of the money they received due to covid.

I have just watched his stunning hat-trick last Saturday in Hungerford Town's 3-2 win against the mighty Maidstone United.
