Chertsey Manager stepped down yesterday as well, from all accounts the brawl was pretty bad.

Anyone got a link to the video, I can’t find it anywhere! Although wouldn’t be surprised if it’s been taken down. If it’s true what all the reports are saying, surely he has to be banned for a pretty long time? Doesn’t matter if the opposition are goading you, you just can’t act like a thug!

From the reports and info, after this part, he then went on to headbutt another player and then get in a fist fight with a player that was not in the squad and watching??.

Closest we've come to this was Binfield v Burnham a couple of years ago when a player being subbed by the Burnham manager wasn't best pleased and they ended up having hold of each other by the shirt collar/throat!!!!! To add, the player wasn't in the squad on the following Tuesday night????

What about Mark Bartley and his crew when we played Marlow a few years ago I was shocked to see him play in the seniors summer match a month later he should never of been on the same field with such distinguished ex Slough players.

Chertsey had 2 statements on Twitter earlier today, one about the game and one about his resignation. Both appear to have been deleted now.  The statement about his resignation said it was mainly due to him relocating to Lancashire!! Must have just been a coincidence that it was 24 hours after the incident. 
 

I read somewhere that it was Joe Grant he went for in the stands. Not great considering he’s recovering from recent knee surgery!
