Kingston and Farnborough United!!

Are there any Farnborough and Kingstonian fans out there.<p>Looks like the mergers happening then.<p>Any thoughts? Please forgive me, but I'm using a posting on another general non-league site here. The fact is we've been working double overtime on our message board this week...<p>Forum - kingstonian.net<p>

Graham Westley has been very busy on our message board trying to sell us this merger. Some of our fans are accpeting it above the doomsday picture being painted otherwise, but most of us (at both clubs) aren't exactly happy about it. <p>I'm not against Westley, but I'm for Kingstonian. Heck, we've come so far (I know we're back in the Ryman) back we've been so many places and spread the name. For the last couple of years people all seem to recognise it when I say I'm a Kingstonian fan. Throw it all away for what - uncertainty? <p>It sure seems like that to me. I've probed the issue of stadia and where the club will be based and it changes every time. I think we've cut the crazy three stadium idea, but are still on two - with a fantastic new one popping up near Farnborough in the future. The club won't be able to alternate it's matches as Westley wants and so we'd end up there. There was everyone feeling sorry for the Boro fans, and here we are now - our turn... <p>I'm lucky that I've got some time on my hands right now (ie on my computer all the time!) 'cos it's pretty hard to keep up with everything that's going on. My concerns are that thee are people pushing this merger more than it needs pushing - especially when there are supposedly other bids waiting to be heard to save our club. I've had non-K'ssupporting friends phoning my today about hearing about this merger happening on radio, reading it on teletext etc. I certainly hope that it doesn't happen.
