While you guys reminisce about the old days let’s get back to the 21st Century. A club Legend has to Steve Easterbrook for everything he did under his tenure, and an Icon has to be Manny Williams for scoring a goal that put us back at this level after 20+ years.

Nothing wrong with a good reminisce but this is so true. I'm not sure anyone in the 50+ years I've been a rebel has had a bigger impact

Still remember that night at st neots two young centre halfs looked at Manny at kick off and thought we have got an easy night Manny ran them rugged they gave up on a ball thinking goal kick but manny kept the ball in play. He then got injured late 2nd half and missed playoff game against Leamington. Tremendous player.

Bogdan used to live with our family in the late 50's and I had the task of cleaning his boots after the games.

That's where my interest/journey following Slough first began.
