Walking 23 Miles around Windsor Great Park/Virginia Water - John Elliott

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

On Thursday 30th September I am doing a 23 mile walk (Dads birthday was 23rd December) around Windsor Great Park and Virginia Water in memory of my Dad who very sadly passed away on the 30th May this year, in aid of the Alzheimer's Society.

As many of you know Dad lived for Slough Town, supporting them for 85 years and is greatly missed by all of us.

Among all the illnesses he had it was Dementia that affected him the most, caring for Dad was heart-breaking but seeing him when Slough played brought a smile to his face.

So to help in some way I am trying to raise as much money as I can to hopefully find a cure for this heart-breaking illness.

If you can help could you please click on the link below and donate regardless of how small the donation is to hopefully finding a cure? I would appreciate that so much.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my posting and COYR.

Hello everyone,

i would like to personally thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who donated to my just giving fund in memory of my father Bim Elliott in aid of the Alzheimer's Society.

The day couldn't have gone better and although i was intending to do 23 miles it finished up at 26.79 miles.

I have been blown away with the generosity from everyone that the fund has now exceeded £1000 which is beyond my wildest dreams.

This money will go to help finding a cure for this heartbreaking illness.

Many thanks again and look forward to our next game when we can cheer the rebels onto victory.

John

Dear John,

I saw your dad a few times at Rebelmatches! I will donate the score of next Saturday's match : i.e. if Rebels win 3-2 I will donate £32. "If" Rebels don't score I shall review the basis!

Kindest regards,

Will Paine

Developing young players and looking out for experienced professionals who have become available help to blend a good squad. 28 years old Dominic Poleon was a hat-trick man in each of Ebbsfleet United's National League South five-fors this season, home to Tonbridge Angels on 14/8 and away to Chippenham Town on 28/9. Watch out for him on Saturday. He might have a long and very satisfying career at Ebbsfleet United :-

Senior career
Years Team Apps (Gls)
2012–2014 Leeds United 29 (3)
2012  Bury (loan) 7 (2)
2013  Sheffield United (loan) 7 (0)
2014–2016 Oldham Athletic 60 (8)
2016–2017 AFC Wimbledon 41 (8)
2017–2018 Bradford City 32 (6)
2018–2019 Crawley Town 30 (5)
2019–2020 Newport County 5 (0)

For 28 years old he seems to have had a dramatic decline in his football career.
