Just a heads up for those going to the game on Saturday.

Hungerford are doing an offer of £2 off if you buy on line before 12 noon on Saturday.

They are also doing a programme, food, drink and entry deal.

They have set limits on the numbers for these deals.

Yes  for£20  you can get  entry to the ground,  match program , a pint, and either burger, sausage or pie and chips.  The total number of their various deals is about 800  Good luck with that!

1 hour 40 minutes on the train too, quite remarkable for somewhere 50 miles away. I think the bus replacement service to Welling was quicker.

1 hour 9 minutes to 1 hour 39 minutes depending on which train you catch but one has to change at both Reading and Newbury and most of the trains stop at most of the intermediate stations, hence ths slowest option averaging 30 mph..

As far as the game goes Hungerford have 6 points from 4 games all won in games away from home  Pointless at home so far  so will probably be trying flat out but surely its our turn for a game with a competent referee and some  change of luck when relatively easy chances go in as they should.

With Hungerford only 2 points and 3 places above us in the table plus no points at home yet, I think after last Saturday it’s vital we get a win tomorrow. I would expect the players to be massively so for this match and determined to make things right. Obviously finances are tight and it’s only worth signing a player if they’re going to improve on what we have so i’m not sure that’s a viable option currently.

Apologies for lack of team news this week, obviously we had no Northy today due to a work commitment, plus injury to Joe and Guy not feeling 100 per cent, so did not want to give that information over to Hungerford.

In terms of AJ, he signed forms for us, and has trained a couple of times however it is not a firm commitment yet from either side.

Thanks to the support today, was excellent, gutted to concede so late, but much better performance in terms of work rate and desire, defended very well today, just shame we couldn’t hold on for a further minute and a half, however convinced we should have had a penalty at one nil on Tom also.

Hard luck a lot more fight from the team after last weeks game.

Superb debut from Micheal in goal a couple of great saves during the game.

On a funny side  Ben was calling for water in last 10 minutes of game I went and bought a bottle at food bar but he spent rest of game on  dugout  side at least it made  for  a good cup of coffee at home??.
