Longshot
According to Binfield FC Twitter they are playing Slough in a friendly on Tuesday at Binfield. Kick Off 7-45.
Neil Baker
This is correct, it is predominantly the 23s lads, but with a few from the first team, whilst the rest will also train prior to the game.
Reading Rebel
Local-ish for me so might pay a visit. Do we know if the tea bar will be open?
Rebellier
Seems to be radio silence on this one....anyone go? Anything happen?

Only Guy Hollis, Sean Fraser, Eitel Goueth and Joseph Lawal from the first team played with Eitel and Joseph only playing the first half. 2-0 down at half time before changes were made. No news on the under 19's game but it does seem that they didn't play their scheduled game last night against Oxford United as they are now reportedly playing Bognor Regis this afternoon. Reading Rebel
Just read on Twitter that our under 19's won their first League game this afternoon against Bognor Regis 7-3 so well done to them.
Neil Baker
They played their game against Oxford in the morning and won 4-2. It was predominately a u23 game with the rest of the first team squad training at the ground.

Irishadrian
Nice of Binfield to make no charge for anyone attending the game.
SloughFlyer
Very forward thinking people that run Binfield. We have been going over there quite a while and seeing the development they have put into the whole set up is exactly the way a club should be run. As you say, having a 50/50 draw instead of a gate fee for a friendly such as Tuesdays im sure would have attracted a few more local supporters than perhaps a normal set up would have. Reading Rebel
Agree that on the surface Binfield do look like a very well run club. Having said that there was no sign of any 50/50 draw tickets being sold on the night. I know it's all down to money but their pitch was not in a very good condition for the time of the season. SloughFlyer
There was quite a lot of work being done on their pitch through the summer (I think that's why our pre-season friendly was changed to AP) so perhaps it hasn't all taken just yet. Was there for the Bracknell game on bank holiday and didn't really notice too many issues with it though.
