Under 23's

Another excellent win for our under 23's winning 5-1 against Eastbourne Borough under 23's.

According to our stats section on the home page we've played 3 and won 3 which is excellent.

On this point, looking at the under 23's league table it shows us as having played 5 games and lying second to Bromley, is this correct?

Our under 23's beat Hartley Wintney 4-3 last night to go top of the table with 13 points from 5 games.

Another excellent win tonight for our under 23 side beating Luton under 23's 3-1.

Despite an absolute downpour throughout the game last night, it was a good match. If people are free I would urge you to come down and watch them in action, remember STFC season ticket holders get in for free, there are some very good players in their squad.

I've seen them a couple of times and they do have a lot of talent in their squad.

If I lived local I would be watching every home game that I could.

Some of these players could be our future so I think they deserve our support as much as possible.

Our under 23's remained at the top after winning 4-2 last night against AFC Dunstable with Warren Harris on the score sheet.

Only half time and full time updates and no team sheet which was a shame.

We are top of the table, leading Bromley by 12 points, who have 4 games in hand on us, however out of the 7 matches Bromley have played, they have only had 1 away match.

Well done to Slough Academy under 23's who took apart Maidstone under 23's 8-1 last night at Arbour Park.

Two hat tricks one by ex Reading FC youngster Alfie Anderson and Sam Winsbury who came on as a second half sub.

Another fantastic performance from the U23’s last night, few goals disallowed and some absolutely crazy goalmouth scrambles.  As I’ve said before if you’re ever short of a football fix then pop down and watch them. 
There were quite a few players in action last night who I’m sure you will see grace the first team in the future.

Possible title decider coming up at the end of March against second placed Chippenham.

Could be worth a midweek visit to give the young Rebels some support.

Excellent 7-0 win for our under 23's tonight against Corinthians.

We are 1 point behind leaders Chippenham with one game each to play.

We are away to Hartley Wintney and Chippenham are away to Bromley.

Extremely tight - we'd be in the box seat if we hadn't lost to Chippenham recently. That said Bromley still have a chance to win with their games in hand. If Bromley and Chippenham draw and we win that would give us a really good chance.
