No  Advising people to avoid Bluewater Junction  Its an ongoing work starting Thursday still on Saturday

And of course Bluewater is a huge shopping centre. So I would say somewhere defiantly to avoid if you can

As my friend's daughter tested positive on Tuesday, I do not have a 50th birthday party commitment on Saturday.

I might get down to Princes Park for the BIG MATCH and if I do it will be via one of the two straightforward, unstressful, inexpensive routes of either Iver - Uxbridge - Finchley Road - Waterloo- Waterloo East - Dartford or Langley - Paddington - Waterloo- Waterloo East - Dartford.

With an Oyster Card on which a Senior Railcard is registered my fare Uxbridge - Dartford return was just £8-50. The tubes and trains were fine but the 12.17 3 bus from Iver was cancelled and I had to catch the 12.47. On arrival at Dartford station bus stop, intended passengers told me that the every 10 minutes B bus to Princes Park had not run for over an hour due to traffic problems further down the route. I eventually arrived at the stadium just before the first Dartford goal but as all the turnstiles were locked, I was escorted into the ground free of charge through reception and a bar and several rooms.

The Dartford FC website states walking time from Dartford station to Princes Park as 10-15 minutes. The person who wrote that has obviously never walked it. 20-25 minutes is about right.

Has no-one who was there got anything to say about the Game?!

Was about to say the same. Obviously the traffic was of more interest! I didn’t go but the score was about what I was expecting, sounds like we have Northy to thank for keeping the score respectable. I think the majority of us realise this season will be struggle and mid table would be a devent season, just hope we have enough to avoid a relegation scrap.

OK, here's my comment on the game. We were out muscled all over the pitch but Bird & Nisbet were able to hold their own. Dartford have a big, fast & skilful side, also they can afford to have Jake Robinson & Luke Wanadio on a very strong bench, which tells you something about the relative finances & playing strength of both clubs. We had 4 teenagers in our squad.

We were unable to get a foothold in the game barring a handful of instances, Jonathan North was definitely our MOM. Having said that all their goals resulted from errors by us. You can judge when you see the highlights. The first one particularly was crucial being very close to half time when I'd thought we'd done well to go in 0-0.

The upside for us is that we won't have to go to Dartford in the league again. They are destined for promotion in my opinion.

Dartford clearly have spent monies on this squad, that said they have a few not so good players within the starting 11 named yesterday, they have an abundance of pace up front and wide which we struggled with throughout the game.

Goal 1 was conceded at a crucial time with half time not far off, which was disappointing as Slough where in the game and maybe just maybe Dartford where getting a little frustrated,  all three goals could have been avoided on another day but we also rode our luck at times and North as mentioned had a good game.

Personally I don't think Slough will be in any relegation dog fight as this squad has potential, the more game time the younger players get the more they will add value to the team integrating with the more experienced senior players.

We didn't really create any clear opportunities in the game a few half chances.

Dartford will roll some teams over with a much higher scoreline this season and probably equipped by a few positions to be a mid table conference team already.

I wasn't going to give an opinion on the game because with the injuries, illness and suspension that we currently have and the fact that Dartford were just so far superior to us it just seemed a bit pointless.

As far as performances go there was no lack of effort from our players with Northy having another exceptional game keeping the score down.

Apart from Northy some players did ok and some had very little impact in their efforts to try and change the course of the game.

Dartford are a good side but I don't think they'll get things all there own way.

Looking at some of the highlights Ebbsfleet look to have a very good side this season and of course there's Dorking, Havant and a few others who will give them a run for their money.
