The draw for the Hertfordshire FA Senior Challenge Cup, Hadley, Oxhey Jets and Tring Athletic receive First Round byes:

First Round (ties to be played by Saturday 30 October)

Cheshunt v Colney Heath

Hoddesdon Town v Enfield

Kings Langley v Harpenden Town

Leverstock Green v Berkhamsted

London Colney v Sawbridgeworth Town

Potters Bar Town v Ware

Royston Town v Welwyn Garden City

St Margaretsbury v Baldock Town

Second Round  (to be played by Saturday 18 December)

Cheshunt or Colney Heath v St Margaretsbury or Baldock Town

Hertford Town v St Albans City

Kings Langley or Harpenden Town v Stevenage

Leverstock Green or Berkhamsted v Hemel Hempstead Town

London Colney or Sawbridgeworth Town v Hadley

Potters Bar Town or Ware v Hoddesdon Town or Enfield

Royston Town or Welwyn Garden City v Oxhey Jets

Tring Athletic v Hitchin Town

Quarter Finals (to be played by Saturday 12 February)

Semi Finals (to be played by Saturday 19 March)
 

  • Due to Covid, and potentially any further disruption to the football calendar, any postponed fixtures other than for weather related conditions, means that Club's who are unable to fulfil a tie will have to forfeit.
  • No extra time to be played except for the Semi Finals and Final, in the event of a draw after ninety minutes the tie will go straight to a penalty shoot-out.

I found it really strange that Karen posted the draws for the Hertfordshire FA Senior Challenge Cup and the Hertfordshire FA Senior Centenary Trophy on another Forum and not on here, you can see where her allegiances lie can't you. She also never answers any burning questions such as where are the Minutes of the SSML Annual General Meeting from last month however she is always forthcoming and straight forward on another Forum, it's really disappointing.

Two hard fought ties last night, one going our way, the other sadly not. Leverstock Green badly need to practice penalties having disappointingly exited the FA Vase on spot kicks to London Colney when Scott McGleish and Rio Beach put theirs 'into row z', last night Kian Wilkes and late substitute Ollie Lawford failed miserably costing their Club a lucrative Second Round home tie with Hemel Hempstead Town:

A groundhopper from another Forum was at Rothamsted Park last night:

Harpenden Town 0 Stevenage 0 (4-2 on penalties)
Hertfordshire Senior Cup 2nd Round
Rothamsted Park
Attendance: All ticket , someone said 208- looked closer to 300
Admission: £5.50
Programme: Free at the gate
A ground in the middle of a town centre, but with a rural feel - surrounded by trees with a large (Oak?) tree almost over hanging the pitch. Small club house, very friendly welcome. A burrito van rather than the usual burger offering then add the magic of the club - a crowd of over 300 to see the non league team triumph over the league side ( well their development team) via a penalty shoot out.
Not a bad way to spend a Wednesday night.
