Ladies first friendly

The team was made up of both the Ladies and the Rebels + a couple of new Ladies.

We played Kingsclere who are a division above from last season's Slough Teams.

We won the game 2-1 (we scored all 3 goals lol)

With the goals coming from Alice And Shannon (Paddy).

This was the second from Paddy.

  • 2 weeks later...

Last week the girls played Wallingford that ended 1-1.

Or goal coming from Bonnie,

We should of won the game easily but not to be.

This week we played Larkspur again the goals wouldn't go in.

But we still came out 1-0 winners again the goal coming from Bonnie.

Today (22/8) both sides had a friendly.

Slough Women (last season's Slough Town Rebels) played their first pre-season friendly against Ascot coming out on the wrong side of a 5 goal game 3-2.

Goals from Steph and Aimee.

The Ladies went to play S4K Bracknell and came away with a 4-2 win, that makes them unbeaten in the 4 pre-season friendlies.

Goals from Abi x3 and Alice.

Are they not called Slough Town Rebels anymore?

I think the home page drop down boxes need updating.

There's no fixture/results or any indication we've got two Ladies teams and no indication we've got an under 18's and under 19's team.

Yes we have 2 ladies teams.

The second team was started last season and were called Slough Town Rebels but this season are called Slough Town Women. The other team are going into the 4th season are called Slough Town Ladies.

The women's team will be playing in The Thames Valley Women League Division 3 East ( which happens to be the Ladies team old league).

The Ladies team got promoted from the above league to The Thames Valley Women League Division 2.

They are on the website but they don't start their season until September.  So nothing to put up yet. Have spoken to Tom and from the drop down teams the 2 Ladies teams will be there.
