The Stabmonk
Hi. Just wanted to say a big thank you from all of us at Chalvey Sports football club. The support we have had behind the scenes, through the gate and from the supporters trust had been fantastic over the five seasons at Arbour Park. Special thanks and a mention to Kay Lathey, without Kay I don’t know what we would have done. A massive help to us over our time there and we don’t know what we would have done without her. Thank you Kay ??? The main reason to moving away from Arbour park was mainly due to mid week fixture congestion. After our lateral transfer to the combined counties league (which has 21 teams instead of 15 in the Hellenic) the number of fixtures were just too many to fit in on top of Slough Towns and Langley’s, hence the decision to find somewhere else to play. Either us or Langley would’ve needed to find an alternative ground for season 2022/2023 based on information given from the combined counties league It goes without saying that we are a side from Slough, and therefore supporters of Slough Town are always welcome at our home matches at the Gore and we will honour our reduced entry fees for Slough Town Season ticket holders for this season and beyond for those of you that can’t travel to watch The Rebels when they are away of course. We all wish Jon and Neil and the Slough Town squad all the best for this season and hope to bump into a few of you in the near future. UP THE REBELS ??
