Is anyone able to confirm the kick off time for the friendly against Burnham.

The message on the Slough website which advised the venue change says that the match kicks off at 7.30pm, however on the 'next match' feature on the website it says 7.45pm.

Thanks.

That's the advantage of going to Burnham, watch a game of football and get your car cleaned at the same time.

Thanks all, see you on Tuesday.

Speaking of Burnham, there was a young black player who played for Burnham a few seasons ago who was getting rave reviews and expected to have good career higher up the football pyramid.

Can't for the life of me remember his name.

Lucas Sinclair who signed for Havant but was released in January.

That's him.

Signed for Havant in October 2020 after a trial game with Doswell saying afterwards that he's been tracking him for sometime and that he was the stand out player in the trial.

Hardly made an appearance for Havant who dispensed with his services after a few months.

TBF to Lucas Sinclair he was officially released due to circumstances based around covid but according to Doswell did struggle to make his mark at Havant when given the chance.

I thought every one of our players played well with some very good performances among them.

Whilst Burnham put up a spirited performance only a combination of some good goal keeping and some not so good finishing kept the score line respectable.

The Oxford City and Aldershot games should give us a better indication on who can step up and make their mark in the league.

Yes, thought we looked slick, but were largely untested by Burnham. Did Jonathan North have a shot to save apart from the goal we handed them? The young lads continue to impress, Gabe George and Eitel Goueth this time. Tougher tests coming up.

Thought the pitch was decent, a far cry from the difficult ones of the past!
