They've got to pay Sam Deering and Adam Coombes somehow!

Although Boro have some good players, they didn’t look like a team. Standout player was Michael Fernandes who was full of pace, tricks and turns, and his good play set up the goal. As for Coombes he was very disappointing, looked as though he couldn’t be bothered, he had a great chance 1 on 1 against Northy and fell over an invisible obstacle, real shame as I’ve thought he was a really good player.

As for game , could and should have had game sown up before their equaliser

It's a good sign to be creating chances as long as those chances start being converted sooner rather than later.

It's probably early day's for players like Adam Coombes to show his best having just arrived at Farnborough.

No doubt he'll show he's a good player once he's up to speed and match fit.

What position did Michael Fernandes play?

Again I didn't go to this game primarily due to the rip off prices.

Rebelade said Michael Fernandes was the stand out player, presumably he means only for Farnborough but nothing about the Slough players, only to say that we should have had the game sewn up before they equalized.

I've mentioned it before but one concern for me is the no show again of Matt Lench.

It seems he's not injured but is he still isolating due to covid?

Vital imo that we have Lenchy up and running for the start of the season.

For me the outstanding Slough player was George Hunt, a proper all round performance, also Hodges,Josh, Northy and Grant had very good games. Tom Derry had his best game for the Rebels especially as he seemed to play upfront on his own.
There were 3 players who had good games but we’re so used to seeing them play well that they sometimes get overlooked, they were Nis, Togs and Sean

I've only seen 2 pre-season games so far so haven't really got to see Tom Derry properly and how he's been performing as our new striker.

Looking forward to seeing how Tom and our other new recruits perform in our final two games of pre-season at Burnham and against Aldershot at home.

I appreciate the heads up, Rebelade but talk about covering them all with glory, you've named 9 players out of a squad of 14 and the result was a 1-1 draw ! ?
