All the ones you've mentioned but I would let Sanchez and Alderweireld go now.

Not sure who scouted Aurier, Sanchez and Doherty but whoever it was should also go  ?

Aurier loves going forward but is a terrible defender. Sanchez drops gaffes but I wouldn't get rid of him yet as I don't think he's all bad. Matt Doherty came with a lot of hype and so far has been an complete enigma/anti-climax.

All players come to the club with sparkling recommendations, and then go to pot after a short period at the club. Look at the left back Serge Regulion, he was highly rated and started off fantastic, a few months in and he became a complete wreck. Perhaps that's more down Jose Mourinho than Tottenham, though. Look what he did to Luke Shaw.

I think Reguilon was excellent when he first came to Spurs and I'm sure he'll be an asset next season with the right players around him.

I think Loris is not the keeper he was but with a better defense in front of him he's still good enough.

I think he is a good keeper but is on the wane hence why I would bring in a younger man and also I would give the captaincy to an outfield player next season. Make Hugo Loris the club captain behind the scenes but not on the pitch.

Difficult to know who's captain material from the players we've got.

I'd probably give it to Hojbjerg.

Agree, from the current crop he looks about the best for the arm-band.

Been told by a reliable source that its very likely to be Nuno Espirito Santo now

I wouldn't say no to Nuno Santo he certainly did exceptionally well at Wolves.

I think I'd be a bit disappointed with Graham Potter.

When Nuno Santo first left Wolves I thought great ! he's heading for the Tottenham job but now all these other managers have been mentioned I've some how gone off the idea of his appointment.

His first season at Wolves, his team played some sparkling football and the signings they made were quality but last season the wheels came off a bit through injuries and tactics so Wolves didn't do as well but least he's got experience of Premiership football now, so he might be a good choice from what managers are available.

Nuno Santo now in first place with the bookies but with not particularly strong odds; then come Graham Potter, Steven Gerrard and Roberto Martinez.

I think managing Belgium is slightly different to managing Spurs.

It doesn't matter who's in charge if we don't get rid of the dead wood i.e. Aurier, Sanchez, Dier, Docherty, Davies etc. and replace them with some decent players Spurs are going nowhere.

Not really when you consider his Belgium team play exactly the same way his Everton team did just with better players!

Can I ask why you’d be disappointed with the most tactically astute young English manager at the top level?

Doherty would be fine if used the correct way and in the correct formation… Poor management by Mourinho!

Potter has done ok at Brighton finishing 15th and 16th in his two seasons.

He could do a good job at Spurs but for me not the name to get the fans jumping for joy.

I think if you're a good player you can adapt to different formations, tactics etc.

Doherty hasn't shown that in the time he's been at Spurs.

Disagree... Nuno converted him from an average right back to the best attacking right wing back in the Premier League and Championship, he goes to Spurs and Mourinho uses him as a defensive full back. That's not on the player, that's poor management. Spurs are set up to play 3-4-3/3-5-2 with their squad but their coaches decided basically on a 4-5-1, awful decision making. If Spurs had lined up Lloris; Alderweireld, Dier, Davies; Doherty Hojbjerg Ndombele Reguilon; Bale Kane Son they would have been in the top 4, no shadow of a doubt.

Not all about getting the fans jumping for joy, Potter has Brighton playing great football and fans should realise that, Spurs could do a lot worse, he'd have Spurs playing a great brand of football.

The trouble is with Premier league teams, Cookham Rebel, is that through a season you cannot play a regular starting eleven, as the squads are so large and with cup competitions and often European football [with the top clubs] and any injury and overcoming a problems for players it becomes more about having the best players throughout a squad, than having the best first eleven.

From the games I saw of Tottenham, Gareth Bale was inconsistent and only turned it on when he wanted to. Eric Dier is no longer a good centre half. Ben Davies is sporadic, he will have one good game and then be awful the next, I actually think his game suffers because he's in and out the side and seen only as a squad player. Matt Doherty loves maurading into the opposition half but can't defend for toffee. He struggled with Mourinho's tactics but he didn't do himself any favours. Tanguy Ndombele looks a very good technically skilful player but he too, suffered inconsistency. I liked Gio Lo Celso but he got a knock which took him off the boil

It was right that Spurs appointed Jose Mourinho after Poch, given his record and experience but he left an awful lot to be desired with the way he manages his players and how negative his teams are, plus having to put up with his over inflated ego, his reign looked doomed as the season wore on. I'm glad he's gone.

It must be hard to motivate players to be excellent week in,week out when they become pampered superstars but Spurs certainly need a clear out as they are not getting the best from the players they have and quite a few of them are just taking the pay cheque and look like they can't be bothered. I'm not against Graham Potter getting the job but he's hardly a groundbreaker in my eyes. To be honest I would prefer Nuno Santo to him as the next manager.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

'Best attacking wing back in the premiership'? I'm sure their are plenty of other clubs supporters who would disagree with that statement.

In his 2 seasons with Wolves he was, I’m not saying now as he was used wrong by Spurs! Be hard for other clubs supporters to argue given not many played a 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 like Wolves did when Doherty was there

I'm not convinced with Martinez... Belgium are the same as his Everton, great going forward and suspect defensively, only difference, he won't have Courtois at Spurs if he ends up there. Martinez would be great for a season then it would begin to unravel.

But this evening, shots 6-23; shots on target 1-4 and corners 0-3 but The Magician conjured up a 1-0 victory.
