Looks like the Ladies team finished 2nd. Any prospect of promotion with that at all?

That’s a great away win for the Rebels at Thatcham.... a win for Thatcham would have given them second place, so looks promising for next season.

The Rebels played at Arbour Park as the council pitches were closed.

This there first season with

 6 wins 4 draws and 6 loses, as they only had a training a session and 1 friendly then straight into the league games so an excellent season. 

The Ladies yes they could be promoted, but the girls are a little down with way the season ended, but getting promoted after 2 seasons is great. They finished mid table last season so on the way up.

It would be great to get more supporters down to AP next season, free entry 2pm Sunday's. 

We get between 75 and 100+ now normal the bar etc is open so come along. See you in September.

On Wednesday we found out that there was a 6 aside tournament today (5/6 Saturday) at hearfield so we put 2 teams in.

We mixed the Ladies and Rebels up but on the day 3 Ladies players pulled out. Also only 4 Rebels players in the end could play so 2 Rebels per team, plus 2 girls from Wokingham (play at a higher level)played.

So,

Ladies....... was 2 Rebels and 5 Ladies.

Rebels.......was 2 Rebles 4 Ladies and the 2 Wokingham players.

Unfortunately after a recount the Rebels didn't get through to the knockout stage.

BUT 

The Ladies went on to win their competition with a 3-0 win in the final after going through on pens in the semi.

WELL DONE EVERYONE INVOLVED
