Slough Ladies are back playing today (4/4=21)

The Ladies team after a very slow start going 1 down, came back to lead at H/ T 4-1.

The leagues top scorer (our player) Abi has got 3 the other was Sam.

Ended 4-1 that wasn't a true reflection on the second half, all I'd say is woodwork. 

We also had a long break because of a long injury to our Kym.

But saying that 7 out of 7 and top.

The Rebels team lost 5-1 to the team that are favourites to win the league,  of the 5,,,, 3 were penalties, of which 2 were said to be dodgy. (Homer). The Rebels scorer was Jess, so con grats to her.

So a very good effort by our Rebles.

At H/T the Ladies are 4-0 up, hatrick for Squish. Abi with the other.

The Rebels at H/T 0-0

Unfortunately the Rebels lost 1-0 in a very close game. Taplow went into top place, with the top 2 drawing. 

So again well done Rebles.

Slough Town Ladies 5 Abbey Rangers Reserves 3

(Slough Town Ladies remain top of the Thames Valley Division 3 East with 9 wins out of 9)

Slough Town Rebels 0 Taplow United Ladies 1

(Slough Town Rebels are in Division 3 South & have 11 points from 10 matches, this result puts Taplow United Ladies top of the league, so presumably a very encouraging result for Slough Town Rebels who have given Taplow such a close match).

Looks like a big match for Slough Town Ladies next weekend when they are away to the second placed club Penn & Tyler’s Green Ladies.

So still unbeaten. Top by 3 point same games.

Rebles 1-1 ended 2-1 win.

How is promotion decided when there are four regional division 3 leagues feeding in to the division 2?

Are all four division winners promoted or are there play-offs?

This might clear it up page 11 of 15.

But I would say we want to go up, even if we don't win the league.

The promotion rule therefore is:-

‘(B) Automatic promotion shall be applied for the first 1 Teams only, if more than one (1) feeder division feeds into a higher division’

I suppose there might be additional promotion places if there is a league re-structure.

This result for the Rebels was fantastic as Taplow are top and it was away from home.

The reversed fixture a week or so ago was a 1-0 defeat.
