'The Wares' 0 Colney Heath 4 Despite being a friendly, the match was a ill tempered affair in which the game threatened to boil over several times.

Despite the scoreline a makeshift 'Wares' side kept playing their passing style of football.

Unfortunately our habit of conceding poor goals continues with four conceded in the first half.

Indeed a poor presentation of Edgware Town. The team must analyze their weak points as soon as possible if they want to avoid another big loss in the next game.

Unfortunately young Charlie Patmore 17 has had a awful time in the friendlies as Edgware have conceded 19 goals in 5 games. 

Clearly an area Rak and his team must work on before next August.

Sounds crazy but take away the 4 goals 3 of them gifts and overall our performance wasn't bad at all. 

We certainly passed the ball more than Colney Heath and possession was pretty much equal. 

 

What we were guilty of is lax defending and goalkeeper errors which has been the case throughout all 5 post season friendlies.

Doesn't the Constitution still need to be ratified, some Clubs's such as Biggleswade United, Potton United and Newport Pagnell Town are quibbling about their new placements so I don't think it is 'cut and dried' as yet.

Probably the final update of forthcoming friendly fixtures (new ones highlighted) involving 'the old guard', it will be updated with all the new SSML Club's once the Constitution is ratified and the appeals to the FA ironed out, I don't hold out much hope for the likes of Biggleswade United, Newport Pagnell Town, Potton United, Amersham Town and now, I believe, Flackwell Heath and Harefield United have appealed:

GRS67 - I won't do a Karen and prematurely jump the gun as the Constitution hasn't been ratified as yet and the appeals to the FA from Biggleswade United, Newport Pagnell Town, Potton United, Amersham Town, Harefield United and Flackwell Heath are still ongoing.
