GlenSTFC
Either he’s got a chance to sign for another team that’s currently playing or he’s had enough and sacked off this season.
Neil Baker
Cam has been training with Gloucester (and he lives in Swindon) however he also has an opportunity back in Oz which he may well take to guarantee playing.

Back to News Page McGilp added to the squad Posted on 12th February 2021 at 17:48 Gloucester City are pleased to announce the signing of Cameron McGilp. The 23 year old plays in either midfield or central defence and joins after a recent spell with Slough Town in the National League South. McGilp started his career in Australia, coming through the youth ranks at Melbourne Victory before going on to make the first team in the Australian A-League. After leaving Australia, he moved to England and had a brief spell with Birmingham City, before signing for Swindon Town in January 2019. After his progress was interrupted by injury, he made his English Football League debut as a 72nd-minute substitute in the last match of the season. In October 2019, McGilp joined National League South club Hungerford Town on loan, where he had two spells. In October 2020, he left Swindon by mutual consent. Following this he signed for Slough and had made eight apperances, scoring once against Bath City. Subject to FA Approval, he will be available for tomorrow's National League North encounter against Chorley. Shredding Green : But he was not in the line up or on the bench in yesterday's 1-1 draw against Chorley. Although Gloucester City are playing their scheduled matches and have hopes of promotion, those hopes are dependant on the outcome of the resolutions and the petition to the government.
