Rhodes
Sorry folks, it's slow news at the moment with no action. There was a thread created a while back by Uncle T from Leverstock Green entitled 'Warmup Before Games' and Karen helpfully posted the Directive from the League below, is that Directive still in force: Spartan South Midlands Football League - WARM UP AREA DIRECTIVE A warm up area should be provided at the discretion of the Home club. This warm up area should be fit for purpose and kept in good condition. The length of the warm up period should be no longer than 20 minutes. Only players taking part in the match and the official club management are allowed onto the warm up area. NO CHILDREN ALLOWED. The Away club must comply with any instructions issued by the Home club. In the event of the pitch being in a state where a warm up may directly interfere with the playing surface, the Home club has the authority to refuse permission for a warm up on the pitch. Away clubs are therefore advised that it is not an automatic right that access to the pitch is allowed for a warm up. It is solely at the discretion of the Home club. The Away club MUST at all times comply with the instructions of the Home club and respect the facilities and condition of the playing surface. Any club reported for a breach of this directive shall face disciplinary action and a fine. Copies of this notice MUST be displayed in the Home, Away and Match Officials dressing rooms. Rhodes
I noticed nobody had bothered responding to this and whether the 'Warmup Before Game's' directive from the League hierarchy from September 2016 was still firmly in place or if it had been recently changed or tweaked in the light of Covid. Uncle T certainly seems to be a stickler for the finer detail having created a thread on another Forum yesterday entitled 'SSML Dugouts Restriction', I thought Karen was bad:
