Hampton & R 12th Dec A

Neil is spot on when he says we desperately need a win to kick start our season and restore full confidence.

Hampton & R are having a strange season so far In the playoff group with 19 points but 15 of those points won on away grounds They have the best away record in the league but they cant buy a home win Their only home win so far is a 1-0 victory against bottom club Bath

Of course it will be a hard game  there aren't  any easy ones but we must have a good chance of getting that elusive win imo.

It wouldn't surprise me if it isn't another draw, as Hampton [and a Gary McCann side] is never a team easy to beat.  Slough are struggling for goals and we are going to need some lady luck in front of goal on Saturday. I

.....didn't mean to send that, as hadn't finished ! Where's our edit button gone?

I would like to think Hampton will be a lot easier than Havant, and that Slough won't choose to go for 4-5-1 against Hampton.

How did Ryan Bird fare last night up front? I saw he got caught offside several times but what was he like in other departments?

Just to be clear we played the same formation in last night’s 0-0 draw as we did in last Saturday’s 2-2 draw, and it wasn’t 4-5-1!

I never saw either game. Someone told me today, that Paul Hodges and Matt Lench were trying to support Birdy from midfield,so I assumed that with no Max Worsfold wide left that it was a 4-5-1. My mistake.

Do pay attention 3spirit  ? it's the 3 little dots in the top right hand corner.

RR   Am I cocking it up? When I press on those 3 dots I get options  to share or report the post but no mention of edit

I’ve seen that Tier 3 area clubs can now let a percentage of fans into grounds, sad thing is this only applies to clubs below the National League N & S...

No worries! Was Birdy and Hodges up top in both games (4-4-2).

It's all very vague when clubs call it a 'covid incident'.

Why not just say someone from the club has tested positive or has been in contact with someone who has tested positive.

It's difficult to say more since all medical information about individuals is strictly confidential.

That is correct, we have been asked by the league not to publish details other than saying COVID incident mainly because of the confidentiality bit, obviously those who are affected can tweet or agree to information being out there, but league would still prefer us not to.

Not sure just by saying a player or member of staff has tested positive is divulging anything confidential.

RR  It isn't   maybe I could have worded it better I was agreeing with your post that nothing more than that could be said what you suggested is fine

As I said it’s a directive from a National League, not to say player/staff member etc and just say COVID event, sure we will be seeing a lot more of them still.
