Irishadrian
Good luck to the lads today Let's hope they are well rested and healed and can begin a climb up the table to where they belong.
Stuntman Mark
Well done to Chippenham for showing this for free on YouTube. I shall have this on with Rebels Radio providing commentary. COYR!
Nathan
Must chalk that one up as a good result in the end, although we really ought to have won it as we had enough of the game to win comfortably. Hopefully this late comeback will restore some confidence. A much improved performance, but must be more clinical and cut out the individual errors. C'est la vie
I thought the game was there for the taking today, wasn't impressed with Chippenham at all. Attacking wise I thought we looked decent at times but yet again schoolboy defending hampers us. No doubt it will be seen as another great comeback but on this occasion I think it was 2 points dropped.
Reading Rebel
First of all well done to the lads for another fantastic fight back to get a point from a game in which we looked like we were dead and buried at 2-0 down in the second half. Fairly even first half which I think we shaded on chances created but didn't really look like scoring when the opportunities came our way. Second half we again created the better of the chances but continued to look toothless in front of goal. Unfortunately we then gave away a soft first goal followed by an all too familiar mistake which lead to Chippenham's second and another loss looked on the cards. Substitute Ben Harris then gets us back into the game with a nicely flicked header from a Matt Lench corner followed by the equalizer from Lee Togwell getting the faintest of touches to a Guy Hollis long throw in and another great comeback by the Rebels was complete. One major disappointment was to see Ben Harris hobble off again.
Irishadrian
The best thing to take from today is that the lads were fighting for something till the final whistle that's been missing recently I think a point from two down is a point gained regardless of how they were scored two down is what it is and a good comeback imo In the play off group of seven today one team didnt play and four lost including Dartford and Dorking shaping up to be a competitive season if covid gets controlled

rebelbrewer
Think we were much he best team going forward - post hit, their goalie made 3 great saves v Jack 1. Ben changed the game when he came on so it's a shame he got injured again. 2 sloppy losses of the ball in midfield cost us. I'll take a draw but it could so easily have been a win. Irishadrian
rebelbrewer Their social media also believes we were the better team one says 2-4 would have been a fair result and there is a lot of praise for their keeper who is closing in on his 46th birthday! Ex Weymouth keeper/manager Jason Matthews now retired covering for Will Puddy who's serving a one match ban.
