So much for petering out, final score 10-0, Stead x2, Putnam x2, Giordama x2, Bircham x2, Cameron and Speer. Colney ended with 9, for a bit of afters near the end but was already double figures by then. Great credit to LC, they kept going and had a lot of shots second half, but it was just wave after wave at the other end and could have been anything. Putnam in particular unlucky not to have the match ball as the makeshift keeper pulled off 2 sensational saves to deny him. Pick of the goals a worldie from young Sean which raised the roof. 16 goals in 4 days at the Jets will have to sustain me until the new year, but what a way to sign off (no away fans will be allowed Saturday, no game until 2 Jan after that). 

Why is Saturday their last game until January 2nd? 

Have they decided to opt out of playing due to Tier 3?

There is nothing stopping fans from travelling to Biggleswade on Saturday. The guidelines state spectators are ADVISED not to travel but it doesn't say they CAN'T travel.

Oxhey Jets have always requested no game at Christmas so hence after Saturday they do not return to action until Jan 2nd

I've contacted Biggleswade's Club Secretary for clarification on this, as obviously I'd love to go but equally I don't want to have a wasted journey, let's see what they say.

Further to my communications with the Jets and Biggleswade Utd, the hosts will be streaming Saturday's game, and all involved have been an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Two fantastic clubs, I'm sure they will put on a spectacle so if you can't physically get to a game for whatever reason then let this one come to you
