Rhodes
We don't appear to have a 'proper' thread for Oxhey Jets other than this one (see link) when Stuart Atkins took the reins back in May, he has done a good job thus far with the Club currently eighth in the table with games in hand on those above them, having lost just one League game. Lets kick off the thread then with photographs from a 2013/14 Herts FA Senior Cup First Round tie at Hitchin Town on Monday 4 November 2013, The Cold End was in attendance too (see link) so there is video coverage, Hitchin Town won 4-0: Oxhey Jets FC new First Team Manager. - Spartan South Midlands League Forum - Fans Focus - Non League football clubs The Cold End: CANARIES ON THE ROAD TO LETCHWORTH
Rhodes
Lifted from the other thread and over 100 photographs of Hertford Town v Oxhey Jets, at Hertingfordbury Park on Saturday 15 December 2012, in a 2012/13 SSML Premier Division fixture which Oxhey Jets won 7-0, surprise surprise Lewis Putman scored four of the goals with Stephen Brown, Warren Gladdy and Gavin Hart also netting. Oxhey Jets finished third in the table that season behind unbeaten Champions Dunstable Town and Aylesbury United who were both promoted to the Southern League, Lewis Putman was top scorer with 52 League goals in just 26 appearances:
Rhodes
Who remembers when Oxhey Jets were drawn away at AFC Wimpledon in the 2006/2007 FA Cup Second Qualifying Round on Saturday 30 September 2006, only their second season in the competition, when AFC Wimbledon were still a lowly Isthmian League Premier Division side. Oxhey Jets had beaten Concord Rangers, Aveley and Ruislip Manor en route and the Club must have made a small fortune with the gate at Kingsmeadow 1,747, they gave a very good account of themselves in a 3-0 defeat. Oxhey Jets reached the Second Qualifying Round again five seasons later in 2011/12 and lost 2-1 to Isthmian League Premier Division Hendon at the Boundary Stadium on Saturday 1 October 2011, having beaten Wodson Park, Great Wakering Rovers and Hertford Town, the attendance against Hendon was 376, unsurprisingly Lewis Putman scored the goal: Oxhey hit the jackpot! - Spartan South Midlands League Forum - Fans Focus - Non League football clubs AFC Wimbledon 3 Jets 0 FA Cup 30/9/2006 – Oxhey Jets FC AFC Wimbledon 3-0 Oxhey Jets (September 2006) - Don't Stop Living

Rhodes
These BBC London interviews with Joe Horwood, Matty Evans, Manager Tim O'Sullivan, Gary Wallace and Deji Ikusemori (in that order) are excellent ahead of Oxhey Jets 2016/17 FA Cup Preliminary Round tie at Kempston Rovers on Saturday 20 August 2016, unfortunately Oxhey Jets lost 1-0: https://youtu.be/sebEgYVYiqI https://youtu.be/WpDl9KTmK3E https://youtu.be/zYDwTXXzMC4 https://youtu.be/oC3R-KPVveQ https://youtu.be/UP6oakXBKno
Rhodes
Over 250 photographs, and match report, of Hanwell Town v Oxhey Jets, at Reynolds Field on Tuesday 16 October 2012, in a 2012/13 FA Vase First Round Proper Replay which Oxhey Jets won 1-0 following a 1-1 draw after extra time at the Boundary Stadium, Ian Bywater scored the goal and surprisingly not Lewis Putman. Oxhey Jets progressed to beat Cockfosters 4-0 at home in the Second Round with, surprise surprise, a hat trick from Putman but then lost 2-0 at Eastern Counties League Hadleigh United in a Third Round tie who also put out Colney Heath and Ampthill Town that season: Modus Hopper Random: Hard Luck Hanwell, Job Done Jets

Rhodes
Unfortunately the 2020/21 SSML season has been unceremoniously 'curtailed' as was officially announced by the FA last Wednesday that 'Steps 3-6 will be curtailed' although, in the case of the Herts Senior County League, who appeared to 'jump the gun' on Thursday, it has already been declared null and void with no promotion or relegation taking place, the League are preparing to run an end of season League Cup competition for all its Divisions. That includes Division Two where Oxhey Jets Development's campaign is sadly at a premature conclusion after just six League fixtures although some may argue that it is a blessing in disguise with the side bottom of the table with a soliary point and 33 goals conceded, their last outing was as long ago as Saturday 24 October when going down 3-1 at home to local rivals Oxhey Reserves. Oxhey Jets First Team last tasted action on Saturdy 19 December with a superb 2-1 win at League leaders Biggleswade United, this followed a 10-0 victory over London Colney at the Boundary Stadium with Lewis Putman surprisingly only scoring twice, the Club have possibly suffered the most from the curtailment as they were arguably favourites for the Championship and their dream of promotion to Step 4 level for the first time since forming in 1972:
Rhodes
Further to the announcement by the Herts Senior County League last Thursday where they declared their season null and void, here is an update from League Secretary Scott Patmore who you may have heard talking to Ollie Bayliss on the BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show on Sunday. I wonder whether the SSML will be doing something similar in arranging a cup competition during April and early May and whether all Club's would want to take part:

Rhodes
The draw for the end of season Herts Senior County League Division Two Cup competition was made recently however Oxhey Jets Development were conspicuous by their absence, they are the only Division Two Club not to take part in the end of season Cup competition and, even more embarrassingly, the only Club in the entire League not to enter: Herts Senior County League Division Two Cup draw Group A - Tring Town; Broxbourne Badgers; Cuffley Res;.
