A Sports Shots preview on this one and interview with Buckingham Athletic surpremo Scott Reynolds who is repaying the faith shown in him by Chairman Tony Checkley. Stotfold won't roll over though as did Hillingdon Borough on Tuesday and neither will St Panteleimon and Milton Keynes Irish in the next two fixtures:

Milton Keynes Irish v New Salamis

This game stands out big time!

Savagebee - You're not wrong, it's easily the match of the day, New Salamis will still be laughing after St Panteleimon's surprise defeat on Wednesday however the smile could be wiped off their faces by Terry Shrieves side. They also won't be happy about playing again so soon on Monday evening against Ampthill Town at Coles Park on what is a 'sapping' 3g surface and Lee Hawkes will know that.

Ampthill Town 2 London Lions 1

A groundhopper from another Forum was at Ampthill Park this afternoon, no programme must have gone down like a led balloon but he surprisingly doesn't touch on that:

Ampthill Town 2 London Lions 1
Spartan South Midlands League, Div 1
Ampthill Park
Admission: £5
Programme: No
Attendance: 88 h/c

Arrived to find a very small car park and it was packed, most people parked on the road, the main car park is shared with the country park and a cafe. I parked across the road next to the rugby ground, where I spotted a small football ground with a stand - St Lawrence Park, home of a Sunday side- Queensmen.
On entering the ground, a good safe set up - well organised. the ground seems small, well enclosed with trees and high hedges, fully railed , modern clubhouse (shut) and a small kiosk selling booze, food and hot drinks.
But the best bit of the ground is the raised side stand which was a combination of 3 rows of terracing, bench seats and plastic seats.
Football wise, Hosts took an 8th minute lead but after that it was the Lions who had most of the ball but they could not get back on level terms. Ampthill always looked dangerous on the break.
It did not take London Lions long to get back on terms when the second half started, however after that the game was much more even with chances at both ends but it was the hosts that got the eventual winner, just 3 minutes from the final whistle.
