Thanks B&W. As you can imagine we enjoyed Tuesday although that's not surprising given the length of time (30 years?!) since the last win at York Road. <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

 

We were expecting another abject performance, to be well beaten and to take away another long term injury as seems to be the norm against Maidenhead. Mind you, Devonshire's gone now!

 

I have to say, I like York Road. Not many grounds have decent covering at both ends and that always makes for a better atmosphere. Take note Windsor, although they don't get enough following to create noise with or without a roof!

Spot on about covering and atmosphere.

 

The supporters helped raise some of the money for the covering at the bottom end of the ground. It meant nothing as regards groung gradings but we felt it would make the ground look and feel better.

 

Weird really. Covering is not part of the Conference of even league gradings as I understand it.

 

Anyway, as I said before I hope the Riddell thing isn't true as you went through on merit and we're not too bothered anyway!
