There is a petition on Dorking website have tried to download on here with out success.

Have also sent email to my local MP in wiltshire also to inform as it stands if supermarine were promoted and we still have these lockdown measures next season they would become elite and would have all our problems.

Talk Sport spoke about it for about 15 minutes this morning.

The introduction was all about clubs from National League, Leagues 1 and 2, and the current impact on them.

That too about 30 seconds, the other 14.5 mins were spent talking about the Premier League and the processes they would have to do.

clubs won't just lie down and accept their nonsensical logic.

You could argue that the NL clubs have already done that by starting this season with no reasonable concept of how much money they will receive from the government, how much of that money the National League will keep for themselves, whether they can actually finish the season with the pandemic picking up again and many with streaming services not fit for the purpose of covering other lost income.

Even though the NL have seemingly had their snouts in the trough in the past and because their very existence depends on the survival of their member clubs you would hope that the 'share out' will be somewhere close to what the clubs have asked for. Or is that giving them too much credence.

Let’s hope that debate doesn’t happen immediately, because with 14,542 new cases & 76 further deaths yesterday the government aren’t going to be easing any measures for at least a few months.

14,542 new cases sounds bad but In relative terms those figures are small compared to the months when the virus started.

Incorrect, to put it into perspective, the number of daily cases in the UK previously peaked on 10th April at 7,860.

The only upsides are vastly more tests are being carried out now than on 10th April, a lot of the positives are those with very early stage or mild symptoms, and more is known about who is vulnerable and how to treat the virus.

As I said in relative terms.

We are doing roughly 300,000 tests now compared to approx 50,000 back in April, so a relatively small number of positive test results now in comparison to April.

Just listened to an interview where the sports minister Oliver Dowden was questioned about letting fans into stadiums.

He was asked why 1,000 people can go to an indoor event where Arsene Wenger talked about Arsenal but socially distanced fans cannot go to watch a match outdoors.

He tried to justify it by saying there are not many indoor events happening compared to football matches and the only other option would be to stop these indoor events rather than bring fans back.

Why not just start with trial events for non league clubs at step 2?
