rebelbrewer
Just to suggest a response to what Neil said in his post match interview - the club are far from certain what they will get from the emergency grant, and in any case this is unlikely to properly replace match day income. Players' contracts will have kicked in from yesterday and they deserve to earn their living like everyone else. I fully understand that not everybody will be able to afford to do much, particularly right now, but for those that can For home games - buy the stream individually (or buy a virtual ticket if you are part of a group who've bought one stream) then donate via the virtual match day on the club shop the amount that you would have spent on petrol, food and drink at the game. For away games - either buy the stream (turning off the sound to listen to Ade of course!) and donate the coach/petrol, food and drink money that you would have spent - that worked out to £30 for me yesterday so I bought 3 virtual tickets or forget the stream, just listen to rebels radio and donate the lot to the club via the virtual shop. Doesn't cost any more than we would have spent anyway and gives the club some level of income. If the grant turns out to be better than expected then maybe Neil and Ian can sign the player that they were not able to in the last few weeks. Perhaps this message or something similar can be put on the web site, twitter and facebook to reach as many supporters as possible? On the point of streaming of away games, do you know if the away club gets a share of the streaming money or does it all go to the home side? GlenSTFC
Pretty sure league games would see the home side bank any streaming income like you would in with normal admission. Only FA games will see streaming income split.
