Reading Rebel
'The NL are actively engaged with the Government, with the assistance of the FA to secure a critical financial support package' Can we read from this that the NL have been in discussions with the Government for some time and a support package is hopefully imminent? The clock is ticking and without financial support there will be no FA Cup or League season.
Reading Rebel
Ollie Bayliss is tweeting that any money acquired is unlikely to spread evenly across all clubs and is more than likely to be a reflection of each clubs fan revenue from last season or a proportion of this years budget. Hardly fair if they use a clubs budget as a yardstick.
Irishadrian
RR Do you think that the clubs (usually with rich benefactors) that grossly overpay their alleged stars should be treated the same?

Some clubs have a bigger budget mainly because they have wealthy people at the club. There are some exceptions who base their budget primarily on crowd size i.e. clubs like Dulwich and Maidstone. But if clubs have wealthy people at the top paying top money then they should IMO not be treated any different to other clubs who have smaller budgets. Irishadrian
Some clubs in our league are really struggling and some are ready to play in empty stadia IMO help should go to the clubs in real need not be spread equally regardless of current financial circumstances.
