Some interesting independent Covid-19 statistics from both Sweden and the USA:-

1. the average age of people dying from Covid-19 is             82

2. 94% of people dying from Covid-19 have at least 2 comorbidities (existing heart, respiratory issues, diabetes or some other existing serious illness)

So please, if you are over 65 with current health issues, go careful who you come in to contact with & don’t catch this, and my concern is I believe we have several supporters who are in this category.

curtis ,while these figures are compelling be advised that this is only what is being reported and what the authorities want you to know.as you have stated the people that are reported to have died of covid 19 are of great age and have underlying conditions it may well be easier to report the cause for these deaths as being covid 19 rather than maybe the real underlying cause ,eg old age, cancer, lack of breath etc i think as it is very few people really know what is going on and they are not telling. i think we will all be playing around with this virus for the for see able future

But we can still go to pubs, clubs, restaurants and cram onto planes, trains and buses but we cannot have restricted numbers socially distancing in the fresh air.

Also who knew that the virus cannot affect anyone until 10 o'clock at night?

It's all just more nonsensical rubbish from these blithering idiots in power.

But at least these buses running along the Bath Road in Slough with usually only two of three passengers travelling in them have their own bus lane to use whilst everyone else has to join the long queue of traffic - I wonder which brainstorming session within Slough Borough Council came up with this wonderful idea to improve the flow of traffic within Slough

Not 100% sure but I think councils were given funds by the government in order to use on these schemes.

The National league will be meeting on Thursday to discuss the latest proposals regarding entry to games at our level

Latest suggestions from government sources suggest this wont be till March.

Apparently the DCMS have requested all non league clubs to submit a detailed survival report to them so aid can be given for lost revenue.

What’s the options?

1. Reverse our ‘elite’ status meaning a fixed amount of fans can attend.

2. All clubs receive sufficient funding to play behind closed doors.

3. Delay the season and hope it can start in maybe a months time.

4. Mothball the whole season.

We've not been presented with many, if any, options during the last six months Glenn. Rather told one thing one day, and something completely different the next. If you want to keep your finger on the pulse of developments simply follow Ollie Bayless on Twitter. He seems to get all the news before the member clubs of the National League.

I think clubs are putting forward cases for most of the scenarios you've mentioned but I'm not sure there will be a consensus. I'm sure on this forum alone we would have different views on what should happen and I think no-one really knows what is the best thing to do.

This is my opinion and not necessarily that of the club but I'm thinking 3, with a view to maybe doing a half season after January if it's looking better then and things don't immediately improve now. Also why not try and use the downtime for a restructure of the league and maybe make them more regional (as was suggested by Neil on Twitter a few months back and seemed well received).

1. Apart from the fact that when it comes to letting fans into stadiums the term 'elite' shouldn't have been used in the first place, if steps 3 and below are allowed to continue it would make common sense to say ' we know non league clubs can't survive without supporters so we'll allow a restricted number of fans into games to keep these clubs going' but as I say that's the common sense thing to do so I doubt they'll be doing that.

I think choice number 2 looks the most likely i.e. some form of rescue package to keep clubs going until things improve.
