Season tickets

Heavy Trucker, knowing how hard this is for the club currently, if you want a refund on the 3 games that we had left to play at home, I will happily give you the money myself, just PM me your details.

I would personally be disappointed that anyone would have a grievance against the club for not being able to fulfil those final games, and the club have always tried to do the right things since we have been here, however we have been in unchartered territory these last 6 months.

Not sure whether people realise how difficult this season could be for us with so many restrictions in place currently.

Neil, I think most of us do realise and several people in this thread have said that they are very happy to just forget about the missed games. I personally see buying a season ticket as in large part a donation to the club as health and other matters in recent years mean I struggle to make every game. I'd actually buy a season ticket right now as a contribution to the club even expecting that we might not see many if any games before Christmas.

Heavy trucker, your thread started that the club should make it clear what is going on but everything changes almost daily. If we had offered season tickets but then the Govt say no fans until January. Just look at what is going to happen on Monday when meetings are cut down to 6 people. If fans could see how much work is going on off the pitch, by volunteers, you would understand how hard it is. Ade

just tabling the idea that when the time comes and i hope it will it would be nice to have the choice and not seemingly be expected to make that donation.?

Do you want a club to support.

Personally had written off the element of my season ticket that was unused. Wouldn't dream of looking for a refund. That's my decision of course not advocating that those that want a refund shouldn't seek one.

How about supporting the club by buying a virtual pint occasionally or buying a new home shirt or buying a monthly 500 club draw ticket? Appreciate that not everyone can afford to do so.

And now an announcement that the tests for opening up sport are being reviewed

just to let you lot know i have supported this club for many more years than most of you have  been on this earth through thick and thin so don't make me out to be some pariah because quite frankly you take things down to another level making out your so much holier than though .neil you keep your money in your pocket i'm sure you need it so much more than i do ,my comments are not about the financial aspect just that just putting it out there that it might be an idea to give people the choice .

It’s less than 3 weeks before our potential first home game. Surely a decision which ever way has to be made in the next 7-10 days so it gives clubs enough time to implement the conditions if we’re allowed fans in. Ok might not be cost effective or could be a logistical nightmare but is there anything saying we couldn’t rent out Windsor, Hayes, Beaconsfield or any other local ground so we can have our fans watching live?

Glen - what difference would that make? Its not the ground that's the issue. The clubs in NLS wanted to be "Elite" sport a few months ago so the playoffs could be played, now they don't want to be so fans can be allowed in. You can't have your cake and eat it! The only reason Step 3 and below are allowed fans is because they are "recreational" sport.

The interesting part is the FA Cup 2nd qualifying round and how the FA play that one. Theoretically, we could be drawn away at say Burnham or Binfield and allowed in but if we are drawn at home im not so sure!

Hopefully, this will all be a mute point, but timings are getting close now!

We don't want our 'cake and eat it' we just want the Government to use a bit of common sense and not lump non league clubs in with the premiership and other league clubs.

Why use the term 'elite' when allowing fans in if they knew it would include Non League clubs who rely on fans attending to survive?

Incompetence abounds.
