Apologies, Crawley Green v Winslow United is on Wednesday evening but, apparently, Crawley Green are not allowing fans into The Brache to watch which seems strange with the restriction recently lifted. Disappointment for Colney Heath last night losing 2-1 at Barking which was always going to be a difficult Preliminary Round tie for them, lets hope Harpenden Town and Harefield United can do better this evening.

It's strange that Crawley Green aren't allowing spectators at their FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round tie with Winslow United this evening, I wonder whether they have received complaints as players parents from both Club's would surely wish to attend to watch their youngsters play in the prestigious competition:

Not SSML but sadly Garforth Town have been forced to withdraw from the FA Youth Cup due to problems with the FA’s white elephant ‘Whole Game System’ to register players on-line, are any SSML Club's using that, if so good luck to them:

One result of note from Monday evening was Chelmsford City 4 former SSML Club Haringey Borough 0, a shocking result and Preliminary Round exit for Haringey Borough who have always prided themselves on the quality of their Under 18's teams due to the catchment area of young local talent the Coles Park Club can tap into. I recall when they reached the Second Round proper of the competition in 2004/05 beating Barnet and Enfield along the way and were unlucky to lose at home to Woking, Leon Rolle played in the side now of pop group Rudimental fame. It's a sorry decline for the Club's Youth team who were never at the races at Melbourne Park and were 2-0 down at the break, it was a surprise that Chelmsford City only added two more goals in the second period but possibly took their foot off the gas knowing that hosting Walthamstow in the next round won't be so easy:
