Reading Rebel
Excellent first signing, welcome to the Rebels Jack McKnight.
GlenSTFC
Yes definitely a Rebels signing. Young, hungry, skillful and the bonus of experience at a higher level. If Kuhl stays then himself and Jack will take the places of Dunn and Davies. Now we just need a replacement for Wells plus another striker. 3spirit
Looks a good signing on paper, given his age and having National League experience but I just watched that video of him scoring for Basingstoke against Slough, on Twitter, which to my mind is no recommendation, as Slough's dodgy keeper failed to extend his arm and was late diving ! ? HEAVY TRUCKER
two jacks in the squad could get a mite confusing?
Reading Rebel
Hopefully it'll be from a Jack to a King. That's one for the oldies ?

Looking at the free kick, even if Jack was two feet further to his right I'm not sure he'd have got to it because it was practically in the top corner and curling away which most keepers very rarely get anywhere near. Stuntman Mark
Aaron Kuhl signed on for next season. Great news if we can keep him fit.
Reading Rebel
Yes, good news and welcome to the Rebels Aaron. My one and only concern is that it's another midfielder when we obviously need a left back and IMO another striker.
Neil Baker
Why is it a concern RR, we are two months away nearly from season starting, yet have a squad of 15 agreed, I don’t think it takes a rocket scientist to know we need a left back, however one might not be named until very late in the day, we have two in the pipeline, and neither are any of the names that have been touted about on here. Also if anyone thinks we are going to be signing a seasoned forward (guaranteed 20 goals a season etc) well I can tell you now for a fact we won’t be, however we are looking for someone to add, and again are working on it, but as stated a few weeks ago, some of those decisions might not be made until the very last minute. Reading Rebel
On the point of new signings have we signed Ollie McCoy? He was on a our player list but now seems to have disappeared from it. Be a shame if we haven't because I thought he looked a promising player for us. GlenSTFC
But isn’t Olly a central midfielder where we already have enough options? I still think we need another striker as we only have 2.
Jon Underwood
Olly is a right winger. He is currently carrying an ankle injury (following a heavy tackle in the Windsor friendly) which unfortunately troubled him again last night so any potential deal is currently on hold and we’ll see how things progress in the next week or two. On the striker front we have Paul Hodges down as a forward but not really sure he's a genuine out and out striker. But yes I agree another striker imo is high on the wanted list and I'm sure that we are working on it.
GlenSTFC
Yeah Hodges is more of an attacking midfielder I wouldn’t class him as a striker. I’m sure as you say it’s being worked on.
Curtis
What about the U23 who played against Luton, was he a striker?

I can only think that he's not ready to step up yet otherwise he'd possibly be in the squad.
